New Cars Still Through Scrappage Scheme
by admin
The famous scrappage scheme under which lots of new cars were ordered and bought is to be extended. This news has been welcomed with enthusiasm on the side of both drivers and car producers who have advocated the extension for a long time. The scheme was in action from May this year and was intended to end either in February 2010 or when the budget ran out. And the second ending option started to emerge. Until now, the scrappage scheme has helped to boost the production of new cars with nearly 230 thousand orders, stimulate the motor industry and market, create some new jobs and make a considerable number of drivers happier. As stated by the government, the scheme would be extended with an aim of covering around one hundred thousand new cars and vans.
